MEET DR. KEN JOSTOCK & EMILY JOSTOCK
Hi, I’m Dr. Ken Jostock. I was born and raised in Lapeer. I always wanted to come back to help my community be happier and healthier. I completed my medical school training at Wayne State University in 2008 and my Residency in Internal Medicine in 2011. I began rounding in the hospital in Lapeer and in a private practice late 2011. I transitioned to be a full-time hospital physician in 2017 and have loved every minute, but something was missing. I was treating the sickest of the sick but always reactively after the fact. It was then I knew I needed to help the community in another way. Now with the love and support of my wife, Emily, and our families, we have established Exhale Medical Spa. Hello everyone, my name is Emily Jostock. I was also born and raised in the Lapeer area (North Branch) and after graduating high school, attended Madonna University receiving my bachelor’s in science and nursing. I’ve been a registered nurse for 14 years now. During Covid, I was on Bedrest with my 4th pregnancy and was mentally ready for a challenge. I began taking online aesthetic courses for what I thought would primarily be a means to use my nursing skills to pamper my friends and family. But soon I began to fall in love with the concept of stepping away from acute care in the hospital setting and work on long term relationships and care for people in the community. Together, my husband and I formed Exhale Med Spa. We look forward to helping people lead lives of health and wellness.
